if I see one more poll, I'm going to officially rip out what little hair I have left |
|
I can't take this goddamn emotional roller coaster anymore. Up, down, margin of error, Zogby's bullshit, no only the Zogby Interactive is bullshit, or Rasmussen's bullshit, or well, maybe sometimes he isn't, etc. One day we're winning, the next day we're losing. Then the spin from the fucking bobbleheads on the cable shows!!!!
Please no more, NO MORE FUCKING POLLS. EVEN POLLS THAT SHOW OUR GUYS AHEAD!! LET'S JUST VOTE ALREADY!!!!!. These campaigns drag on and on longer and longer every year! We need to go back to the good old days when campaigns didn't even start until Labor Day.
AggggggggHHHHHHHH!!!!!

1. I think we should do like the UK and other countries |
|
And outlaw public polls and campaign ads during the week before elections. Of course, the UK also has an aggressive watchdog group that ensures campaign ads tell the truth when they are run. How quaint is that?

3. polls don't mean much unless they get people more or less enthused |
|
as far as the vote, that is what matters.
I would add my strong wish that no results be annouced for at least 2 days, give at least the resemblance of having counted all the votes. Scenario: absentee voter mails ballot the last day, day of voting. Results are announced that evening, or at least by Wed morning when the ballot has not even arrived at vote counting place. Bah to early calling and Yeah for accurate complete counting before announcing results.
