I must admit to enjoying (some more than others!) three of subjects of the four photos. I'll drink Bud when I'm light in the wallet (not a beer snob, but I would prefer a decent stout over the moose-piss), I have no problem with fiddle music (the joy of an eclectic musical taste), and the beer babes are welcome here anytime. I'm not much of a Nascar fan, though. :-)

As far as NASCAR, it's so totally NOT about "driving in a circle".

It's about brilliant ENGINEERS, who need to be a rare combination
of "Wiley Lawyer" and "Old World Craftsman"

LAWYER, because EVERY car has to adhere to the same
phonebook-thick set of technical specs.
Finding a single tiny LOOPHOLE in that maze of jargon
can mean MILLION$ in "Checkered Flags".
(At least it yoostacould; I don't think anyone has found
any good ones for awhile now.)

So mostly CRAFTSMAN nowadays, because incredibly ANAL attention to the
final hand-polish on every single engine part just MIGHT
mean that your motor puts out 1/2 horsepower more than the
identical motor the other team built...
And, all else being EQUAL, that 1/2 horsepower MIGHT mean
that YOUR car is 5 feet ahead of theirs after going all-out
for 500 miles.

Best not to even get me STARTED on 'fiddles'.
