i believe she became House Dem leader when we were in the minority and have continued to be.

but just the thought of her as Speaker gets me exicted. doesn't the Speaker sit up front behind the President when they give the state of the union address. next to the vice president.

imagine Speaker Nancy Pelosi sitting up there when the monkey gives the speech next year. think of the contrast between her and the disgusting creatures Bush and Cheney.

anyone remember during Clinton's speeches how Gingrich sat through much of it with an ugly look on his face refusing to stand and applaud.

and of course this is just one thing. we would have more control over what bills will be debate, and have control over how much time is given. and of course there are the committees.
