They won't replay All that Saddam said at the verdict ~ Why? |
|
In the early morning of the verdict, I woke up to CNN and MSNBC running ALL the words of Saddam.
He spoke several times about "down with the invaders" or something to that effect.
It was chilling!
Now, when they mention it, they are not replaying ALL of what he said originally. They brush over his words and mumble a few sentences that were not the meat of what he said that morning.
Seems ROVE/NEOCON NEWS felt that they could not let America hear his words.
Bet they are playing his words all over the Middle East and the rest of the world but we are not allowed to hear them.

I doubt that whatever he was saying is going to be particularly helpful for us.

4. He was ranting and talking to the world stage |
|
His rants were not helpful for the USA. They were clearly spoken and chilling.
However, censorship of such a "Democratic" process is not helpful to our understanding either.
I heard this morning that America poured 90 Million into this "democratic trial" and I didn't hear until this morning how controlled the trial was by our government.

5. Maybe CNN International caused them to rethink the brush off |
|
of some of the words.
About 3 this morning , they were not replaying the entire "rant" or even a segment of it. They told us what he said in about 10 words or less.
Unless you hear it in his voice, it is meaningless.
In America it would have not been called a "rant," it would have been referred to as the Defendants Last Statement.
Trust me, I am in no way defending Saddam, he was/is a tyrant.
I know another tyrant that rules in the USA.
Sure would like to see his gang at the Hague.

6. The big word is "if" they show it at all in the US |
|
IMO,It should be played as many times as the Colorado Playboy Minister in his SUV.
I've seen that clip at least 20 times and it has not a bit of meaning to the international community.

7. Just saw the same thing happen with Andrea Mitchell |
|
The reporter LIED and said that Saddam started to speak and the judge made him sit down.
The reporter did not mention "one word" that Saddam said, not one word.
Andrea Mitchell, who should certainly have heard exactly what Saddam said, went right on with the kool aid.
I could not believe my eyes or my ears.
