The International Herald-Tribune is its own company even though it works (to some degree) in partnership with the New York Times. The IHT also partners with other publishers worldwide.
Many of the articles and editorials published in the IGT are also published in the NYT, but the same can be said about many newspapers including the LAT.

7. Most folks who are privy to their editorial won't be influenced at all by all of that |
|
and they shouldn't be.
They used their editorial page to make a powerful appeal against Bush's republican-enabled imperialism. When they get it right, they should be recognized for it.

8. Why? Has the NYT owned up to its LIES yet? To its PROPAGANDA? |

I say, it's seeing the writing on the wall.
And THIS? Why didn't the NYT then endorse an actual DEMOCRAT? "in 2004, and even then this page endorsed Republicans who had shown a high commitment to ethics reform and a willingness to buck their party on important issues like the environment, civil liberties and women's rights."

9. I don't think the NYT influences many swing voters. |
|
Your average person on the streets does not pay too much attention to the New York Times.
