illegal activity - sometimes it only takes one hand
i recently received a email from our district office that said all teachers can send their early voting ballots via school mail to Mrs. *******, the facilities manager, and she would hand deliver the "bundle" to the voting office. I did a little political background research on Mrs. ******, an administrator in Montana's biggest school district. She gives rather generously to Burns / Bush. Our teachers in this district are overwhelmingly DEMS. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but I won't be sending my ballot to her.

1. You should probably warn others as well.
Such a generous offer has to have something in it for her. Probably best for everyone to just make sure their own ballots arrive safely at the voting office.

3. I wouldn't give my ballot to anyone
Even if the person is completely trustworthy anything can happen on the way to the mailbox. I was worried enough sending it through the mail. Luckily most mail carriers in my district are Dems ;)

4. K & R This is IMPORTANT for all voters to consider
My daughter is in AZ and requested a mail in ballot. The party affiliations of the ballot holder is printed ON THE OUTSIDE of the envelops!

How many hands are out there that could mess with YOUR vote?

Look into it. Ask embarrassing questions of your county election officials. Be persistant.

And, can we keep this kicked? It is VERY important to consider.

5. That's how I convinced hubby to get involved in 2004
I told him it was the machines that concerned me the most. Told him that it would only take one rogue programmer to grab an opportunity and voila! Asked him to consider the case with malicious hackers and the damage they can do...that there are thousands working to combat them everyday. Can the same be said about the effort made against election fraud?

6. Kick
It's something to watch for people - those helpful folks who wanna deliver your vote for you may have an agenda. Think about it
