House and Senate come back in session on November 9th
Even if we get what we want tomorrow, there's still a lot of scope for these Bush bastards to do damage before January 3rd

I expect the staff of several committees of the house to be doing a lot of shredding before the new year.

that allow members to introduce bills and amendments.

Open for five minutes and adjourn. The real sessions start next week.
