Don't Buy The Spin. We will win EXACTLY BECAUSE We are Liberal Democrats
I keep hearing that the Democrats aren't going to win but instead, the repukes are going to lose. This is nothing but spin.

It's true, that the repukes will lose because they screwed up. But they didn't just screw up once or twice. They made screwing up a way of life. They destroyed the budget, blew-out the deficit, increased our National Debt to over 9 TRILLION DOLLARS, they killed more Americans than the terrorists did and they killed more Iraqis than Saddam. They are proven to be corrupt and extremely hypocritical, using wedge issues as a political carrot stick for their 'base'. The only real issues they stand for is themselves.

And that is why Democrats will win. Democrats actually do care about the poor and the sick and the working class. They don't waste billions of dollars on corporate lobbyists who seek to write the actual laws that give their corporate backers billions of more dollars in corporate welfare. Democrats seek diplomacy first and maintaining our reputation as a world leader over creating false intelligence to lead us into a war that has caused us to lose the war on terror, lose the support of our allies and lose our own dignity. Perhaps this is why over 2/3rds of the military vets running for political office are actually Democrats. And by and large, the vast majority of corruption has been exposed by Democrats as they have shone a lite on the very machine that generates this corruption is the K-Street lobbyists whose jobs were created by the Gingrich Republicans in the late 80's and early 90's. And finally, when a Democrat is gay, they are openly gay. They don't subject a wife and a family to a false life while they hire gay prostitutes. They don't hide behind their wife's skirt when the news is finally out that they are gay and have all the while been promoting anti-gay legislature simply to gain votes from a political base that they despise.

So yes, Republicans have lost, but without offering a viable alternative, the Democrats would not be winning. Given that the Democrats are poised to take control in a very big way, I'd say that says everything it needs to say about who the Democrats are and what they stand for.

1. Like Michael Moore has said, we are a liberal country
The majority of America believes in:

Protecting the environment
Reasonable Gun Control
A Woman's Right to Choose
Equal Rights (we are getting closer on gay rights)
Legal Rights for ALL
Protection of Privacy
A more rational/peaceful foreign policy

The crooks with the most to gain are on the other side. Their motives are dishonest. Their means are dishonest. Their goals are selfish. And they have to spend the most money to make their platform happen, because people left to decide matters on their own would NEVER come up with a single Repuke policy. ALL Repuke policies are either Trojan horses or bait for their bigoted, ignorant flock.

America is finally sobering up after 9/11 and the Halcyon days of the great Clinton economy. (I say the Clinton economy here because the booming economy made many newly 'rich' and many voted as though they were a Billionaire, not realizing the cost or actual implications to their country or their own wallet)

America is liberal. Repuke policies create more Democrats every day. Choke on it, freepers.

3. Funny how no one gets high local tax with the cut in fed. tax.
They seem to go with it being Dem. fault. I do not think we can get rid of these fallacies we live with like GOP is best for business. Some thing are in our face and we still go along with what we think and not what is in our face.
