January 3, 2007, right after the swearing-in ceremony--time to unleash John "The Pitbull" Conyers!!!

I have to admit, in additional to all the right reasons to vote Dem tomorrow, I have harbored this thought in the back of my mind for quite some time now: Once the Dems win the House tomorrow, I want Mr. Conyers to go after the Bushistas like a pitbull going after intruders into his House.



I want to see him nip and snap at their fleshy parts in dogged pursuit of the truth. I want to hear him snarling and growling at Republican lies and distortion. I want to see real investigations with real oaths and real questions and real answers. I want to see these investigations open to the public--to the world for all to see. I want the fresh smell of "truth" to blow in and blow out the stench of Republican crime and hypocrisy.

We need to clean up all the foul messes of the Gingrich/Bushista era; that will take some time. But we need to hold these thugs and cutthroats accountable as well! This should never happen again! For the sake of the nation and the world: This cannot happen again!

Be ready, Mr. Conyers! January 3, 2007--BE READY!!!

8. I absolutely love John Conyers, Jr.

He is the primary reason I am voting Dem. I am looking forward to impeachment proceedings. I believe Rumsfeld will be the first to go. Bush and Cheney can't be far behind. I think Conyers is soon to be a well known name in American history.
