Check out this Freerepublic thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1733465/posts

They are very suspicious of Jo and not real excited about voting for him.

1. That is EXACTLY what I'm counting on. If they can't get excited about Bush
and the GOPs how on earth are they supposed to get excited about voting for Lieberman?

It just doesn't make sense and I believe the polls are skewed. I still believe Lamont could take this race and would bet on it.

"Friday on Imas he said that he was very disappointed at the way certain Rats had treated him such as Chris Dodd and he would remember that. I say pay backs are He!!."

I spotted the new freeper word "he!!" first! Go me!

4. I have always thought his Repub numbers were bloated.

It's one thing to say you'll vote for Lieberman in a telephone poll from the comfort of your own home. Especially when you know that's what the Repub Party wants you to do.

It's a wholly other thing to get out on election day and go wait in line only to vote for a Democrat. Particularly when there is a legitimate Republican listed on the ballot.

I think Lieberman is relying too heavily on phantom Republican votes.

5. Not very many positive comments in there!
Wow. I don't think it's going to be as easy for Joe as people seem to think. I'm a CT voter, and anywhere I go in the state, the Lamont signs far outnumber the Joe signs. He's been boo'd out of bars and grocery stores (although admittedly, those were LaRouche supporters). I think people see through him. And I also think that CT's huge percentage of Indi voters -- more than half -- anything goes. I think there will be a surprising number of people who say Republican going in to the booth, or kiosk or laptop, or whatever, will press the D button/lever/chad/chip.

6. Sam Seder on Air America was saying that he thinks Lieberman is
in trouble for exactly this reason. Their is another thread I started a few pages back on this.

Lamont's numbers are SOLID! Should be real interesting!

8. I like to remind them that a vote for Joe is a vote for Pelosi to become spkr!
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 05:39 PM by KurtNYC
And you know what that means....

-Mandatory gay marriage for everyone
-Mandatory attendance at all gay pride parades for everyone (and please observe the (un-)dress code)
-Every Heather gets 2 mommies!
-Every Daddy gets a "roommate"
-Marxist/Lenninist style communism starting on Wednesday
-a free cocktail and massage for every terrorist ("coddling")

:sarcasm:

10. Ya just gotta love the fact that the Freeps have to go to the polls...
... and vote for the sore Loserman. Ah, the irony.

11. Just love the insight of Freeps: "Let them rot in tax hell blue states..."

Apparently, this particularly dim Freep doesn't realize that those "tax hell blue states" are keeping the Red "welfare" states afloat. The hypocrisy smorgasboard is always open in Freeperville.

Freepers are not exactly representative of most CT Republicans. Most Freepers probably hail from the South and West and are religious right nutjobs. I see Lieberman winning by 7 points.

13. I suspect many of these freepers are straight ticket voters...
To split their vote in favoro of Lieberman might good for other candidates.
It is hard to believe they will be reading all that writing to separate thier votes.

Just like dubya sez reading writing is hard work just like writing reading.

The write in candidate for Delays' seat is only at 28%. aren't mispelled names spoiled ballots?
