14. WOW, THAT WAS JUST A TAD SCARY

Temperature dropped 13 degrees, everything got calm, then big winds and heavy rains, but as of 1623 central time no whirlygigs. I had the garage door opened (facing west) and I have a bit of cleaning up to do out there thanks to those winds. Thanks for the concern ya'll. It will take physical restraint or death to keep me from voting on tuesday. I won't be stopped by no damn tornado.

18. Mother Nature can be really scary at times

We have a nice home but there is only one room with no exterior windows, the bathroom. I'd run outside and make a check of the clouds and run back in. I like to have the garage door open so I can see better. If we get hit with a tornado it wouldn't matter if it were open or not. I'm not real tough when it comes to battling mother nature. Katrina really put the fear into me.
