8. The day before the election, finally the talking heads call bullshit

When clowns like this say "the jihadists want you to vote Democrat!" Matthews called him on it in half a second, and even turned it right around on him..."Are you a spokesman for the jihadists?" The guy looked stunned...and Chris hammered him on how he could possible know the jihadists felt this way, unless perhaps he was aligned with them. It was awesome, but fuck...why now? Why not 3-6-9-36 months ago, Chris? Then the guy tried to say this is all obvious because of stuff like John Kerry's comments against the troops. Matthews played it brilliantly, and asked "What comments? I didn't hear Kerry say anything against the troops. What did he say?" The guy stammered again..."Come on, Chris, we don't have to rehash that!" and Matthews didn't let up. "No, you claim Kerry said something negative about the troops, I'd like to know exactly what he said. What did you hear him say that disparaged the troops?" It was great.

But again...so late in the game. I'll look at the positive side...the night before the election, perhaps there are a more viewers than usual taking this stuff in.
