Molly Ivins' opinion of Texas Republicans.

Another thread reminded me of a story Molly Ivins told in her book, "Molly Ivins Can't Say That, Can She?" The book was a compilation of many articles she had written over the years. This particular one, she wrote for a publication that permitted obscenity.

Writing about Texas legislators (Repugs) who had just passed a law against sodomy, she reacted by stating that:

"Upon passage of the law, the Speaker of the House shook the hand of the Senate majority leader, thus breaking the law they had just passed that a prick couldn't touch an asshole."

You just gotta' love Molly Ivins.
