I think there is something starting in the north of Iraq.
I only see scattered reports - I am hoping some of you are better than me at looking at the reporting.

I mostly have a bad feeling. I know the curfew is lifting there first - but I don't think that is it.

I have not had this feeling since the day my kid got ambushed in Samarra.

I think something is going down.

Do you see anything on the wires??

3. My contact with the kid caught off again this weekend.
And I know the satellite is up.

He is in the 18th that got sent down to Baghdad from Mosul. He did time in Mosul.

They are getting the snot knocked out of them up there.

I have no logical reason to belive this, except I feel it. And this has happened before.

I know it is breaking - I don't know why I know - I am trying to find out. Cause I don't see anything.

4. I use this site for new compilations
http://icasualties.org/oif/
It lists casualties, but also compiles news from a number of places. I can find little new, but lots of anticipation post sentencing Saddam.

5. I appreciate this.
The military updates casualties on friday, around 12 pm PST. We hold our breath and look.

The truth is - I know they lie. And I trust them more than others. I think that is sad, too.

Look, my father was a major dually commissioned in the army and the air force. He was a "hero" - he is in history books, you know??? Mom was a LT - I have a whole litany army people in my family. And my brothers were all grunts. I KNOW what I feel. I felt it in Samarra and I feel it strongly now.

Something is breaking right here.

For god's sake, why didn't they put a four day hold on these trial "results".

They lit powder kegs that will go off under our kids butts.

2. I looked and saw little, but most coverage is of election here.
Have you heard otherwise, or gut feeling about it? It would be a good time to do something, what with eyes on USA election. Hope not.
