3. They will, never fear
the drop in prices was just a transparent ploy by Big Oil to aide Rethugs in getting reelected.

2.05 a gallon, I am very jealous. 2.29 on Long Island, up .10$ here. The Vulcan uses High test at 2.49, but gets 40 mpg or better.

15. Frantic calls back and forth from Saudi Arabia to the White House
Mr. Bush, can we raise the prices back up yet?

Bush: Rove told me to tell you no, no, not yet, we have to at least wait until the last polling place closes tomorrow. We have to preserve INcredibility at least until then.

OK Sir, but just know that each moment delayed is costing us billions!

Bush: I know, I know. How about this? After we take this election tomorrow, we'll increase your ownership of America to 12%.

16. Rumor Has It There's An Election Tomorrow....
Prices should be set to resume climbing higher once that's past. Coincidence.

17. Slight increases here in Greenville, SC.
I did see a station on the 291 near E. Faris with $1.99 for regular today. Otherwise, most stations have increased regular petrol prices to the $2.05-2.10 level. However, the hammer drops, again, soon (IMHO).
