My Mom has voted Republican forever. She is a true Republican. I could not even convince her that Bush was bad in 2004. She would never talk about it with me and always told me I was free to vote for whoever I wanted, just don't try to change her. I never got into it much with her once she made herself clear. So, you could imagine my surprise this evening when I was talking with my Dad (I life-long Democrat) that my Mom was going to vote tomorrow... punching a STRAIGHT DEM TICKET. Thankfully, I was sitting down. I had to ask him to repeat what he just said. Then I fell out of my chair.

They live in Ohio. Mom has seen enough of the corruption and hypocrisy and believes that the people in power are not real Republicans. I couldn't agree with her more. I love you Mom.

3. Tell her to vote straight ticket but vote for all dems instead.

I heard as was posted on this board that it is easier to rig a straight ticket vote than individual ones.
