J.C. Watts: How does the man live with himself ?

I saw J.C Watts on CNN earlier tonight. Of course he tried to spin as much as he could for the Republicans, and he was up against James Carville. I didn't find him too obnoxious and he didn't seem to lie, from what I could tell. Still, he's African-American. He's Republican. To me (from a white man's perspective), being African-American and Republican is akin to being Jewish and a Nazi. It doesn't compute. Can someone help me out here ? Is it the same phenomenon as the Log Cabin Republicans ?

8. As an African American or Black American......

He is one of the people in the world that honors money above all else....he, Steele, Keyes all believe they are part of the Repug machine they believe they are vital....I liken them to the African tribes in the 1800's who captured and sold other tribes into slave....but as often happens they ended up slaves themselves....

These guys just like Colin Powell will be the first to be thrown under and to the back of the bus...and trust me when they get kicked in the face they will claim they are the victims of racism...just my observation...
