By the way, I attempted to contact the local VFW you or someone else posted here the other day (Moline, IL), and got no answer on the phone. I didn't have time to go over there today as I was yelling at...er...working on my car. And tomorrow is extremely busy, with breakfast, voting, and GOTV efforts, as well as (hopefully) a victory party.

It pissed off a lot of Vets and some Vets were even calling the Duckworth campaign threatening to burn their VFW cards.

There were lots of Vets at her rally today too.

The endorsement is a complete fucking joke. Who the fuck would better represent Vets than someone who was shot down in combat and lost her legs and laid in the hospital for months.

6. On The Ground: This Is A Major Screw-Up

I'm next to the 6th, and have been phone banking and talking with lots of people in the area and the VFW sham has gotten a lot of people pissed off at RoScum. Whatever "value" this endorsement had went right out the window when the story hit the Chicago media on how the selection was. It just shined a bright light on Tammy's sacrafice even greater and many feel this could tip the balance, once and for all, in her favor tomorrow.
