Anybody read Greg Palast?
Every happyhappyjoyjoy post around here makes me so nervous. Everybody seems to think we're golden because of the polls. Yeah, well, the polls don't show the good guys leadin gby enough to feel comfortable right now.
I thought it'd be fine in 2000, 2002, 2004. Now here we are, celebrating when nothing, NOTHING, has been accomplished. We must get capitalize on the anger at the pubes, and we must do that in the states that matter, or all the anger in the USA won't amount to diddly.
I am relying on my sisters and brothers in the battleground states. If you don't GOTV in Tennessee, Virginia, Montana, etc, we are fucked because we know the pubes will be challenging voters by the million. We absolutely must beat these traitors by 10 or the machinery will send us home unhappy again. And the world cannot handle another 2 years of this BS.
Please, please, please, don't get too excited right now. It all comes down to tomorrow, and I can do nothing here in MA. All my people are in MA and CA. They're going D no matter what I do. All you battleground states folks, pick me up, people! I and the free world need you now!
GOTV!

1. You mean this article?
How They Stole The Mid-Term Election

http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0611/S00114.htm

Rove says we don't have access to THE MATH. He's probably right.

6. Yes, precisely
And I heard Rove's little slip as well. We probably will need to consider what happens next on Wednesday, but until then, we need everyone assuming all it will take is 55%. We're on an uneven playing field, but we can still get the job done. We can. My point is: just don't get too excited and let your guard slip now due to some nice polling numbers.
GOTV!

3. I saw his latest...
And I know alot about electronic voting, and not much of it is good. But if we win by 55% instead of 50.1%, we shall overcome.

OVERWHELMING FORCE!!!

Get out the vote! Take someone to the polls.

The election is coming whether we participate or not. ON Wednesday we can do a post mortem.

5. we've seen excitement and jubilation before...
and what did that get us compared to what They want?

I pray, (even tho I don't believe in 'traditional prayer to an old guy out there, somewhere, doing guy things) ' there is anything out there to undo what we have allowed.

7. I read part of it then bookmarked it for later.
I do not need to be depressed right now; this sobering information is not new, unfortunately, and there is not, at this late instant, a damn thing I can do about it.

8. My post is for those who can do something
and for all of us who can restrain from thinking we've got this thing in the bag. I am just scared that if we get too ecstatic over the trends then we will let our guard down when it matters most - tomorrow.

11. Yah, I unnastan'
Ecstatic is not something I can contemplate. Right now, about all I can get up is hopeful and determined.

At seven a.m. I shall be at the polls, carrying one extra participant. After that, it's prepare for the next fight.

10. What is Palast doing right now?
Last I heard he was in trouble for filming the Fema camps, as it was on Exxon land. Is he doing anything with this election?
