IS GEORGE W. BUSH CLINICALLY INSANE?
By Bill Gallagher

DETROIT --
His shrill voice pains sensitive ears. In the red states of the South and West, he ramps up his Texas twang as he brags on his war and hurls insults and lies about those who don't share his views. President George W. Bush says he's "pleased with the progress in Iraq," Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is doing a "fantastic job," and those who support Democrats "want the terrorists to win."

<snip>

Gushing over Rummy and Dick Cheney, the two principal thugs who lied to get us into Iraq and designed the disaster, Bush claimed they "are doing a fantastic job and I strongly support them."
The remark prompted conservative columnist Andrew Sullivan to raise the question of Bush's mental fitness. Sullivan told CNN Bush is so delusional, "this is not an election anymore, it's an intervention."

Sullivan, long a cheerleader for the war in Iraq, said Bush is "so in denial" he simply can't come to grips with his failure: "It's unhinged. It suggests this man has lost his mind. No one objectively could look at the way this war has been conducted, whether you were for it, as I was, or against it, and say that is has been done well. It's a disaster." Sullivan added, "For him to say it's a fantastic job suggests the president has lost it. I'm sorry, there is no other way to say it."

The president's nanny corps -- his mother, his wife, State Department hands Condoleezza Rice and Karen Hughes -- know he's unhinged, but are too loyal to share that disturbing truth with the world.
Republican House Majority Leader John Boehner tried to shift responsibility for the Iraq disaster away from Rumsfeld. Boehner quickly filled the disgraced Tom DeLay's shoes as the most loathsome member of Congress.

and he's a kind, gentle man. He just needs prodding to pay attention. OTH, he's not sociopathic, which is entirely another story.

8. Axis-II Personality Disorder - untreatable
Narcissistic Personality Disorder (with strong Sociopathic influences)

This should not be confused with Axis-I mental illnesses which are treatable.

Mental illness is, like any disease or illness, not something that should be stigmatized.

9. That defense for his war crimes and crimes against humanity WILL NOT WORK.
The dude knows exactly what he's done and he's going to do time, lot's and lot's of time ...

Never Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq .... and, now he willfully provided nuke-making instructions to terrorists -- if you doubt it, just check 'the google' ....

18. Sorry, but...
To make statements that these criminals are insane or incompetent gives them more power then they deserve. It makes them look like they are TRYING to do some good around the world, but are fucking it up, which is an obvious pile.

Nothing but gangsters.. nothing more.. nothing less.

20. The Man is Barking Mad

There’s nothing more disturbing than knowing that an alcohol-addled megalomaniac has his sweaty fingers on the Big Red Switch and that with one little tug he could ignite the world like a Roman candle.
It’s not a comforting thought, but it’s the truth.

As the situation in Iraq continues to deteriorate and the feckless congress concedes more power to the president; Bush’s grasp of reality seems to grow increasing threadbare. How much more pressure his fragile psyche can take?

Regrettably, there are signs that Bush is losing ground to an invasive form of delirium praecox; the steady erosion of his already circumscribed mental faculties. This can’t be good for the country...or the planet.

Presently, the world is crashing in on our Crawford Regent. Truckloads of bodies keep pouring into the
Baghdad Morgue and Afghanistan has exploded like a roadside bomb drowning Bush’s “budding democracy” in blood and dust. The prognosis on both campaigns is doubtful at best.

The administration is putting out one public relations brushfire after the next with no end in sight. All this has taken its toll on our weary president, pushing him to the very brink. Who knows when Bush will finally snap?

Who can guess when he’ll strip naked on the White House lawn and go scuttling down Pennsylvania Ave shrieking at the passers-by? It’s only a matter of time.

28. Hard to say
if he is really insane, or just "playing that role". God knows his "I ain't too smart" ploy has won him both sympathy & respect from different gullible factions...and unfortunately they vote. Have noticed on many occasions that it seems he's still being feed words somehow, because he hesitates for long periods in the wrong places.
There is nothing more dangerous than an idiot who thinks they're somebody. The last 5 yrs have proved that fact! or :dunce:

30. Well, Perhaps
He's a narcissistic, sociopathic, moron

as for an axis 1 diagnosis, it is possible he is bipolar, but I doubt he is depressed as he is too sociopathic to have much room for that kind of feeling.
