6. Another bright side: he fucks up their GOTV for a day

Bush spoke here in Kansas yesterday. His supporters were arriving a full three hours before the event and it took them close to an hour for the parking lot to empty. That took them off their GOTV for at five hours (adding an hour for the rally). More, if you consider the time it took for them to wash the car, get something to eat, dress up, drive there and back, etc. Not only that, but they (whoever they are) asked that all the GOP candidates in Kansas make an appearance. I don't think all of them did but those that did attend missed out on a day of campaigning with their constituents which is crucial in some of those tight races.
