going to turn in now. I am hopeful, and nervous, and afraid. I have to work most of the day tomorrow until late afternoon when I will leave to go vote. It's going to be hard to be away from DU all day. I will miss you guys and gals. Tonight, as always, I am extremely grateful for DU and for all of you who are my community...thanks for being here.

After 2000 and 2004 I am not sure what tomorrow holds, none of us are. So far, so good I'd say. Remember "plausibility" is a major issue and the Democrats have that on their side this time, more than ever but then there is the media wildcard. Once burned, twice shy.

Well, I am preaching to the choir but I think it was Martin Luther King who said to never underestimate the power of the choir. (Well, I did a search and I can't find any info on this quote. Rats. I have heard it but I can't remember where right now. I hope that I am not making a major mistake by stating this.)

Peace be with you all tonight and hopefully tomorrow for the first time in years. Sleep well. See you on the other side.

1. Just watched the rerun of KO's interview with Howard Dean
and they're all over the dirty tricks portion of electioneering.

A lot of eyes are wide open.

"I think it was Martin Luther King who said to never underestimate the power of the choir."

Amen!

Onward.

2. So nice to see you Bleever. What a comfort you are. How's
that I believe thread these days?

I missed the Dean on KO thing. Bummer. I have a feeling though that this time people are more awake and aware than before. Forewarned is forearmed, right.

Thanks for being here.

5. Forewarned, forearmed, and
PISSED!

Not just us tinfoil chapeau folks; "mainstream" media folks up and down the line.

We aren't giving up, and we aren't the only ones anymore.

Sleep well. Wake up happy.

6. I am worried about NY-25 and NY-26
NY-25 is where I am from, and NY-26 is where I reside now. Both have Republican incumbents.

Ny-25 is held by Jim Walsh. Polls have shown him losing by 10

NY-26 is held by Tom Reynolds, the guy who knew about Foley and all he did was tell Hastert. Didn't tell the police or any other authorities.

NY-25 went for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. It should be our seat.

NY-26 went for Bush in 2000 I believe and went for him again in 2004. It is a Republican district so it is a testament to the unpopularity of Reynolds that he only holds a 3 point lead at the moment.

I will be voting at 1 pm tomorrow. Good luck to all Democrats running.
