laura bush called me last night in Missouri! I'm important!
My thrill at having the first lady call me personally was slightly tempered when I realized it was a recorded message, asking me to vote republican. Now she knows me better than to think that her recorded voice urging me is never going to make me vote for her husband's party, what's with her?

Just two days earlier I got a call from the might newt gingrich! I don't know how I suddenly became so important to the republicans, little ol liberal me, of all people.

3. Broadly speaking
anything like that would be illegal in the UK. We've had nuisance calling well strapped down for some years now. And if "big bum" calling unsolicited isn't a nuisance then I don't know what is.

4. Laura does that
when Bush starts flopping around kissing his pilly and she gets pissed off, she heads on into the other room, downs about three Xanax and when those babies kick in she gets "phone disease", a lot of drunks and authors do it..

She'll call everyone she knows and since they're all in bed and don't want to talk her ass down they'll just ignore her, so then she gets on the computer and starts randomly generating phone numbers and calls anyone who will listen.

I think she was just yanking your chain, as I'm sure her babysitter is handing her the Phone Tap records so she KNOWS you're a Democrat, so she decided to PUNK you with a faked "Robo Call"..

She's a barrel of laughs and one HELL of a DRIVER :)

5. Rudy and Rush called me. How desperate they must be to take a chance with Rush?
I would think that he could push some people to vote for the dem just because of the Michael J. Fox fiasco. I am in MI and DeVos is going down, thank God!!!

6. don't you just want to spit in their faces?
   ......... back in the days when gingrich was "newty boy" and some interviewer asked him what were his favorite books, he said that he kept a copy of Mein Kampf (Hitler's biography?) on his night stand right alongside the bible... That alone should've sent a red flag up and down everyone's spine. I wonder which of the two books on that night stand gathered a lot of dust for lack of use. }(

7. So much for their vaulted 'target campaigning'! Saw something on ABC
News the other night about how they're looking at what type of car you own, what soft drinks you drink, and where you shop, to indicate that you could be influenced to vote for them.
