MORE WACKY CHAIN MAIL from the REPUGS! (Debunkers, start your engines!)

Subject: This might spook you

Can this really be true??

Here's a bit of Biblical History...

Read all of this one; it is interesting!! Read down to the very bottom highlighted in green. You don't want to miss this!

VERY INTERESTING-

1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq , was the cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

9. Ass yria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was! in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the

Fiery furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq

18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon , which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shina r, and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it than Iraq.

And also, This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages ...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran
(9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!
I BETTER NOT HEAR OF ANYONE BREAKING THIS ONE OR SEE DELETED This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq. Pass it on to everyone and pray. Something good will happen to you tonight at 11:11 PM. This is not a jokeone will either call you or will talk to you online and say that they love you. Do not break this chain. Send this to 13 people in the next 15 minutes. Go.

So there's no debunking that.

8. Chain letters.......
recreation for complete morons. NEVER break the chain or you could end up like my sister's friend's third cousin who knows someone who's aunt's mother's dog groomer broke the chain letter and broke her leg the next day in a freak skiing accident! :wow:

Chain letters are for superstitious idiots, hence the religious overtone which fits in quite well with their primitive superstitions. :eyes: I know a few people like this who always send me this crap. It ends with me, I just delete them and guess what? Evil has yet to befall me! I know I'm pushing my luck but hey, I've always liked living life on the edge.;)

2. There is no word for "eagle" in Arabic; therefore, this passage
in the Qur'an DOES NOT exist - never did.

This is what Surah 9, Verse 11 says:

"Yet if they turn to God and observe prayer, and pay the impost, then are they your brethren in religion. We make clear our signs to those who understand."

4. Tell them you want empirical evidence......
of these claims. Unless they can produce concrete evidence that all of these things are true that's nothing more than a laundry list of pure, unadulterated bullshit.
Note: the bible DOES NOT COUNT as empirical evidence. That would be like Tom DeLay offering his books as evidence of his innocence. It ain't 'gonna work.
These people can't be reached anyway. They BELIEVE! They don't know, they BELIEVE! It's so much easier than pursuing the truth.

5. Debunk?
What's to debunk, other than the symbolic interpretation, such as the eagle? That stuff is -- let me see if I can remember the Arabic term -- I think it is "zamma," which is often translated as "speculation," though "bullshit" might be closer.

It's like this.

Jews and Arabs are Semitic peoples. Sumeria (Babylonia), which constituted much of modern Iraq, was an early empire of Semitic peoples. It was conquered by Assyria, and then by Persia, both non-Semitic peoples, but the largest population in central and southern Iraq have always been Semitic. Sumeria (Babylonia), Assyria and Persia also conquered Palestine. Pretty near everybody conquered Palestine.

The Semitic peoples share many traditions as well as much of their languages. Muslims believe that Muhammad brought the "religion of Abraham" back to the Arab people, who many years before had migrated into Arabia from -- you ready for this? Sumeria.

I just finished rereading the biography of Muhammad by John Glubb ("Glubb Pasha") and am in the middle of the one by Karen Armstrong, so this is fresh in my mind.

6. The Koran quote is FAKE FAKE FAKE. Merits a "reply to all."
In fact, AFTER I'd reply to all, I'll check the Bible quotes also. It may be that a number of them are false too. If any of them are, reply to all again.

9. I still love that Adam was the only person around, but yet
we have the exact conversations between him and God ... where was the court stenographer?

And, the conversations were recorded "accurately" ... along with "knowing which day Jesus was born" ...

but then, records of what day he died depend on the lunar cycle ... and are marked by a bunny hopping around with a basket full of eggs ...

As the comedian Gallagher said ... "Let's give the eggs to an animal that hops" "GIMME THE EGGS! GIMME THE EGGS!"

10. Debunked! Haha.
Even if there was even a shred of this being true, it still begs the question: what did Saddam have to do with 9/11? :eyes:
