Fox rips Limbaugh at Milwaukee rally
http://www.suntimes.com/news/elections/126175,CST-NWS-govwis07.article

<snip>Gov. Jim Doyle, who is seeking to become the first Democrat re-elected governor in 32 years, welcomed actor Michael J. Fox to a rally in Milwaukee.

Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spoke about the governor's support for embryonic stem cell research. Fox, who had to occasionally brace himself as he twitched, referenced remarks conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh made two weeks ago accusing Fox of not taking his medication before cutting ads for Doyle.

''I recently had a run-in with a not-so-compassionate conservative,'' Fox said. ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''

3. Lots Of Great Rallies Last Night
Hell, I felt this way in 2004...and I always like to go into election day very upbeat. I'm very hopefull that the good feeling I'm sensing now will prove worth opening a fine bottle of wine later and celebrating with...I've got one, Vintage 2000, that's long overdue to crack open.

It's very telling that many of the Democratic campaigns finished on the offense last night. While booooosh hid in very, very Red territory, Clinton walked into Northern Virginia to a massive rally. While Gym Teach Denny hides in his Yorkville, IL mansion, Nancy Pelosi is going into Repugnican-held districts.

Mr. Fox's heroic stance against such a catastrophic illness and to stand up to the bullies has been an inspiration that definitely will make a very positive impact in many key races today. Thanks you! McFly, you done good!

5. Michael J. Fox has class
I respect that he's completely taken the high road in all of this. Granted, he deserved to totally lash out at Fatboy, but he defeated him with humor. I think this won over people more than Fatboy's embarassing antics.

8. What class, what heart! And to think people actually listen to Rush?
Sad part, %30 of the voting public listens to dumb asses like Rush and actually eat the shit they spew.
How sad is that!
