Remember, ensure that your vote registers for the correct candidate

Watch that the voting machine registers your vote correctly, and if it isn't who you voted for, DO NOT CONFIRM THE VOTE, and DO NOT LEAVE THE POLLS until you correct it

We cannot take our votes for granted, and may have to take some extra effort
