Some irony when I voted
I voted - straight Dem - nothing exciting going on, just the usual RWers in my town with their Bush/Cheney bumper stickers.

When I left the school gym after voting, I heard some RW looking guy castigating his wife "you voted straight Democrat - mindlessly" as he put his arm around her.

I guess many RWers are not smart enough to see the irony they are faced with today!

1. I quit voting straight Dem ticket because
there were quite a few races on our ballot that only had a repub and libertarian running -- don't want to miss the chance to at least vote AGAINST a repub....

4. Good choice.
No one with an R beside their name deserves any seat in any government right now.

5. Yeah, only two columns on our ballot
"Democrat" & "Republican" - I chose the Democrat column ;)

I used to vote for Libertarians etc., but there didn't seem to be any running this time.

6. Some in my town have had nothing but stupid
All stupid, all the time - SO full of hate you can't even talk to them.

3. My wife voted straight Dem
She feels that it is an effective statement.
