A much larger turnout here in Newport News, Virginia than the primary, and it rivaled the turnout of the last presidental (s)election.
This was good.. I was also happy to see a lot of black people come out (hopefully) to support Jim Webb.

3. Arlington was packed too |
|
It took longer than anticipated but ...
I saw plenty of blue fliers inside, but that Issue 1 appeared to be bringing out the religious bigots.

5. I voted at about 7:20 this morning and I was #34 in my district. |
|
It was simple and only took a few minutes. There are no national races that are races in my district.

10. nope... I just moved to a new place and I didn't get my ballot. |
|
I was planning on heading into the court house, but I really should not be driving in the rain. Can't see that well.
Besides, I live in a progressive stronghold. Everything goes dem out here. I am really not worried.

and I got the sense the turnout was heavy. First time I've voted at this particular location so wouldn't know from past experience
However conventional wisdom is heavy turnout favors Dems which is why the repunks try SO HARD to suppress our vote....
