Please call Laura and tell her what you think about this: 800.876.4123. You can e-mail her here. Apparently, voter intimidation and fraud are a joke to Laura Ingraham. Let's let her know that it is no joke.

and admittedly she isn't advocating direct interference but if she is urging callers to tie up lines so that people can't register their complaints it's only one step removed from direct interference and at least civil suits could be brought against her by anyone unable to get through to the hotline. During her show Ingraham, repeatedly played clips of President Clinton encouraging any voter who was having trouble voting, and had concerns about the legality of what they encountered to call a voter rights hotline. Ms. Ingraham encouraged her callers to call the line generating a flood of "crank calls." These crank calls (instigated by Ms. Ingraham) constituted an interference with legitimate voter rights protections is at the very least egregiously horrible behavior at worst possibly illegal voter suppression.

Please investigate this incident and prosecute her and her network to the fullest extent of the law.

This is a MUCH more serious threat to civil discourse than some morning DJ using scatological references and course humor, or a pop star's exposed breast for less than a second on television.

The funny thing is when I called the hotline earlier today, I got through in a fairly decent amount of time and they were perfectly helpful.
