Todays Voting

As an american one of our simplest rights has been embrassed and made a joke of it.People of color and women have died for it the basic right to vote.
Just think back for the longest time voting was simple basic and to the point. You registered for what ever party you liked or believed in,and you went in a pulled a lever to vote for them.
At the end of the day you counted votes and you had an idea of who won within 12-24 hrs. I understand that technology has grown and changed over the years.
I am sure that over the years that there had been voter fraud in prior elections not on the levels of todays current elections.
It makes you wonder how strong is your party if you have to cheat to win an election what does that say about your party and platform.
Yet most folks say" whats the point of voting when my vote isn't going to count anyway"
There should and always be a paper trail for voting..
