It didn't affect her vote today. That's what I read.
I think it makes sense. I don't think she has been convicted of anything, YET.

The Bush regime has gutted so many of the laws protecting citizens. I really don't want to see presumption of innocence join posse comitatus and habeas corpus.
The sticky bit about our rights is that landmark rulings protecting and defining them are often established around sleazeballs - the classic example being Miranda. Ernesto Miranda was a sleazebucket criminal. "Miranda rights" were established when he was charged with kidnapping and rape and not informed of his right to counsel and his right not to incriminate himself. The Supreme Court overturned the conviction and a later retrial with new witnesses (and with Mr. Miranda fully informed of his rights) came in with a guilty verdict that stuck.
As tempting as it is, and it is certainly VERY tempting in the case of Annthrax, we have to resist any abrogation of our constitutional rights no matter what kind of human detritus is claiming them, because when one person's rights are violated with impunity, the rights of all of us are endangered.

Innocent until proven guilty. After she goes to court and is found guilty, then she will loose her right to vote.
Even if she was in jail awaiting trial, she would still be elgiable to vote. Other wise the cops could arrest all sorts of persons before election day, just to prevent them from voting.
After he sentencing and after she pays her 'dues', I'm sure she will feel much differently about felons getting their right to vote back, after doing her 'time'. LOL!
