FOX NEWS Working For Lieberman-Replacing Lamont Signs With Joe Signs
Fox News: Lieberman's Field Staff?
Just heard this story that came from one of our volunteers in Milford… apparently, he was the only person from any campaign pollstanding at a polling place in Milford earlier this morning. All of a sudden, two or three out-of-state Fox News vans (accompanied by a Fox News crew) pull up and unload a bunch of Lieberman lawn signs, placed right in front of the Lamont signs that had already been planted. And, what do you know, after a few more minutes, who shows up but Joe himself, ready for the cameras.

Who needs a field organization (or an advance team) when you’ve got Fox?

8. there's an ethical line that was crossed: conflict of interest
in a normal news organization, they'd probably lose their jobs. At Fox, they'll probably get promoted

5. Hey, fair and balanced doesn't happen on its own
It takes hard work and lots of props.

I wonder if their cameras were rolling... I'd love to see that on the news.

10. Hold it ... This looks fishy.
The link has this:
"...two or three out-of-state Fox News vans," Fox News is printed with an overstrike (a line through it.)
then says ACCOMPANIED by a Fox News crew...

So, my take in reading this is that 2 or 3 vans with out of state plates pulled up and put up the Joe signs. They probably knew Joe was coming and so was Fox to shoot some story featuring Lieberman. They guys in the vans (probably not Fox employees, but Lieberman workers) were dressing the set.
Now, Fox does a lot of things, but sending like 3 trucks on a story isn't one of the things that they do. It sounds like the signs were set up by people other than the Fox crew.

Let's save the outrage for actual underhanded election tricks.
