1. Actually, It has been really hectic day in and out of meetings
That is the only reason I am not at the polls working and the only reason I can check in on DU occasionally.

I didn't realize it was after 3:00 until someone came in on their way out the door.

I am sure tonight will be a long evening though.

10. That's my day too - just logged in to read about the shit hitting the
voting fans.

Doesn't seem to be a happy day for a lot of people. Glad I'm stuck in the office writing proposals (and a few posts now).

4. I don't have enough going on at work today to keep me off the net
So even for me, north of the border with nothing but the world at stake, time does seem to drag.

11. Jeez, I thought it was just me! I thought I'd NEVER get out of work.
I was already tired of the work freepers fellating Allen -- give it a rest, guys. Yeah, you voted for your pig, so let's wait and see if everybody else is braindead, too. God. The question of the night is: has Virginia smartened up, or is it still the same hidebound reactionary bunch of racist fossils it always has been?

13. Einsteins theory of midterm election relativity
All minutes during a tense election cycle will from this moment forth untill all results are in consist of 73 standard seconds as opposed to the normal 60.

17. I should be asleep - it's almost midnight local time,
and I have to get up in 6 hours - but tonight has dragged on worse than 2004, when I had the next day off and could stay up all night. There's nothing to do, and almost as little to read so far, other than the innumerous threads reporting election fraud, yet I cannot seem to put away my laptop and go to sleep.
