34. No, you're not. I hate to think I've lost hope, but, well, I did
last election. So, I'm trying not to get too excited right now.

2. I haven't been this stressed since the Clinton win in 92!!!
So it's a 'good' kind of anxiety.

Look, we have to face it, even if Bush gets out of office, we still have to
deal with the bastards and the shit they will disturb. This is America and we let a President think he is a king.

6. I had a really bad vision flash in my head
a few days ago of a MIHOP attack that the neocons might attempt. Am I wrong in thinking the new congress is sworn in all at the same time and at the same location in Jan.? Do the math.

35. It would be awfully convenient to wipe out the Congress and Supreme Court
and at the same time provide another New Pearl Harbor to squelch dissent. I am afraid of this happening. Bush/Cheney will never give up the power they have worked so hard to gain. -- Wanet

but in the end he'll leave miserably hated and defeated, and for his ego that will feel like bitter death. Huzzah!

21. I'm on edge.
Even with all the machine screwups and repuke phone crap, I'm thinking a huge voter turnout could cause a real sweep of Congress. I just can't shake the feeling though, that something wicked this way comes. The BFEE reacting like a crazed cornered animal maybe? I don't know. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm on edge.

23. Just the normal election day jitters.
I feel pretty good about things, though, even with the reports of some of the irregularities going on. I think voter turn out and the turning tide will be enough even taking them into account. But, I'm crossing my fingers as always.

28. I'm uneasy
I can't quite get to feeling even close to relaxed .
after 2004 which is one day I will never forget , I really was certain bush would be gone along with the entire BCF . I just knew it , now i trust nothing until the results are final . I have not made any predictions because there seems to be no point in this , for me anyway .

I know predictions are a positive way of dealing .

31. No, because either way, the problem isn't anywhere close to over.
Being able to pull off a win might be a great first step towards change. But vote fraud might decimate that hope. Even if it doesn't, we'll still have to make sure that our elected officials move towards actively repealing what's already been done.

32. I feel awful.
In part because I overdid the GOTV the past few days, but mostly anxious about the results of the election. I was totally, utterly devastated in 04. I knew in my heart we would overcome..... and then we didn't. I am trying not to care, to assume we will lose everything again. That way I can't be disappointed.

33. What's to be scared of?
I guess if I had kids I would feel differently. We all die someday and I've enjoyed my life more than most, I think. Whatever Bush does, I'm ready for it. If I have a chance to take a few bots with me, all the better.
