Elections suspended in South Dakota amidst allegations of widespread fraud and bribery, martial law declared and national guard troops are being deployed to supress uprisings amongst the working poor.

Early this afternoon it was alleged that Sue Killmen, election supervisor of the 12th ward, had received large payments from an undisclosed source. Directly after this information was made public, the Governor declared a start of emergency and deployed riot police to protect Fargo banks. This caused massive confusion, as all police presence at polling locations was removed.

The Governor proceeded to make a series of trips to the various banks, removing unknown items form safety deposit boxes. It was uncovered that while their staff took a series of documents to a shredding facility, the Governor left in a helicopter to an unknown location.

At some point the Governor ordered the local polling places to be razed, removing any evidence of wrong-doing.

I have very bad memories about the summers of '68 and '74 when martial law became a possibility and this low level zoomie began to wonder what she would do if the US gov't order members of the armed forces to take arms against the civil population.

I did know what I would do and shortly thereafter it would go very ugly very early very quickly on my sweet buns.

And disregarding what would have become of yours truly, the country and its ideals that I love(d) would no longer exist.
