I sat at my computer and was overjoyed at what looked like a certain victory by Kerry.

High turnout. People fed up. Exit polling show trending towards Kerry.

It was about 9:30 PM EST that EVERYTHING changed, and there was King george and his buddies sitting around laughing and happy!

What will tonight bring? If polls are to be believed, it will be a certain victory for the good guys.

I was seriously considering going Code Red on my apartment with my Irish broadsword before moving to Mongolia to become a yak herder...but then the brick hit me, and I realized I'd just survived an attempted murder, and it all kind of slid off me. I was back to work for THIS ELECTION the very next day.

I pledged to stay up and watch until there was a President.
