They've been doing them. The results have been going to a closed room with media reps. They were not allowed out to discuss them at all until 5 pm; they're still not to discuss them on the air until there's an official "call" for a specific race.

This means that for very close races you won't see an official release of the exit poll numbers until very, very late.

They will, no doubt, leak. But I'm guessing that if they're leaked on any of the exit-survey partners that the leaks will be strictly oral and not put on the screen. But blogs and minor media outlets will probably get them.

(But the numbers are only as good as the assumptions behind them, so if the turnout's been exceptional the assumptions are probably crap.)
