So we do not use black boxes, we use paper that we fill bubble out on.

Well at the top of the ballor is a place for you to vote a ticket. and it is a huge area. Now here is what was odd..

( ) Republican <Image of Eagle>

( ) Democrat <Image of a Chicken>

( ) Mountain <Image of a Mountain>

3. either that or they're saying we're "cocks"
either way, it's just more Conservative projection. You know, like when they say we're evil and want to ruin the country, but they're doing just that while they say it?

5. Back in the bad old days in the south...

the Democratic Party symbol was a white rooster.

There is a long story about that rooster and how the Black Panther Party was put on a ballot in, I think, Alabama.

6. Actually that's a Rooster.
Have you not heard the battle cry "Stamp the Rooster"?

Used in other states as well - ex. Oklahoma.

7. Very strange
The use of animal mascots for parties originated back in the days when many people were illiterate. Thus if somebody couldn't read, they would still know how to vote a straight Dem ticket by marking the ballot with all the candidates with a donkey.

I have no idea why West Virginia uses the eagle and rooster mascots. Most states used a donkey for the good guys and an elephant for the bad guys.
