1. Legislation essentially begins in the House. |
|
It'll be a damn good start.

4. Appropriations bills originate in the house or reps. |
|
Other legislation ... it doesn't matter. But it has to be introduced in each chamber of Congress.

2. It would just mean that impeachment would be harder |
|
But little more...
bills have to pass muster in BOTH houses, and the house originates subpoenas for investigations, so that's the opne I want if I can only have one..
Judicial votes in the senate would be dicey with them in charge, but a few more dems only helps

5. Minority has virtually no power in the house... |
|
Majority runs things the way they want, Minority has SOME power in the Senate, so even picking up a few seats there will be good, if not the Majority.

7. Honestly? A continued bull Stock market. |
|
The market tends to favor gridlock and conflict between House and Senate.
I know thats not what you were looking for but it is likely.

15. Let me kick this. It was my initial prediction and I'm wondering how this is going to pan out. |
|
Will having the house and not the senate be enough to set the country back on track?
