We are all AWARE, some may babble some may express joy some may wallow in the possible grief from the traitor-con. SO what is that yo you? Why are you here SCOLDING people with stuff they already KNOW?

But I remember when I went to the election headquarters afterward feeling pretty good.
And I will never forget the feeling the next morning.

Even Rove is publicly worried and GOP talking heads are already talking about a comeback in 08.

23. Actually, I don't ... |

I wish the people that keep saying this would go back to the archives and read the threads that were popping up "about this time" then.
The screaming had started before the polls had closed becuase at some point in the afternoon, some yahoo on CNN had come out with the idea that people were voting on "values" and that this favored Repubs, as their polls were showing.
It was not all honey and roses at any point election day, 2004.

by this time in 04 most of us had a massive sinking feeling going on. It was still a few hours before it all sunk in, but no things were not good at this time in 04.

I started the day in a pretty good mood. Had my election day music blaring as I drove up to my polling place. Cast my ballot in a state I knew would not go for my candidate in the Presidential, but I had optimism in other races.
By the time I got to work, I was feeling bad vibes as someone had managed to put Coburn (R) for Senate signs all across the road in front of the DEMOCRATIC headquarters. Hundreds of them.
By the time I left work, at almost this same time, I was depressed.
But I don't want to think about that day right now, as some obviously want us to it seems.
I don't know how this will turn out, but I'm feeling a lot better about things right now than I was at the same time of day 2 years ago.
