If the country goes left, will the media folow?
After all of *'s "voctories" the networks hired a bazillion rightwing guys. 20/20, for instance, promoted John Stossel to co-anchor, citing 'conservative times.'

We need to flood the networks if we win tonight, demanding that their coverage reflect the changing times and that we have an end to scarborough/beck/matthews/grace/carlson etc. dominating our airwaves. Yes, I left FAUX out - do you really expect them to listen?

And if the exit polls are true and progressives like brown win where pandering 'centrists' like ford fail-shouldn't they give us a break from dlc-ers like brazille as the featured voice of the democrats?

don't let try to diminish the good that just may come out of tonight-demand real progressives on your airwaves and make your voice heard like never before!

5. The spin on TV is:
It's not that voters like Dems, it's just that they just wanted a "change".

Reminds me of a football team that never admits to being beaten. They always say they lost it by playing poorly instead of being outplayed.

6. They follow or they get dismantled.
GE in particular should be forced to divest itself of NBC or lose their defense contracts.

7. No- although you will see a return to tough investigative reporting.
But it will be against Democrats.

We are going to win back congress, not the media.

8. No, they are bought and paid for already.
The corporate media is what it is. We need a return of the fairness doctrine to effect any real change.

9. I think they might out of fear.
They might from fear of being busted up, back into much smaller more independent orgs. They might also fear a return of the Fairness Doctrine, i know the pukes fear it.
