I'm strangely calm this year.
I was very invested in the 2000 election, and I practically had a breakdown after 2004. This time, I feel that, either way, we've reached a critical moment, so I'm not very freaked out. If we win, we get a chance to try to change things for the better. If we lose, we're going to see even more citizen frustration than we've seen up to now, and a crisis looms. So I feel that, one way or another, change will come. Of course, the latter route will be more painful. Nonetheless, I'm hopeful.

You?

9. Yep, I thought so, too. So what are you saying?
I'm saying that either way there's a ton of dissatisfaction. Better if we win, but the dissatisfaction doesn't go away if we lose.

3. Yes, me too...
been feeling a strange calm, much different from 2004, when I almost had a nervous breakdown. I also believe either way we will win in the end. If they do win, the public will know for sure they stole the election, and there will be a huge outcry this time. I can feel it...people want change and they are not going to take anything as passively as they did two years ago...

4. not as uptight this time
04 was horrible, I'm just hoping for a win, but I'm being very cautious, not getting my hopes up until its over.

7. I was heavily invested in 2000/2004 and even more so this time
I am numb now, hoping they don't steal another one. I am praying that the extremely high mid-term turnout means a tsunami for the Dems and a total wipeout for the Repukes....

But I am terribly worried - the early polls look good - but they looked good before.

These slimey bastards don't fight fair, I just hope their "values voters" have finally seen the light....

10. Me too. I almost made a post like this.
I'm feeling fairly confident and serene.

I mean, how much worse could it even get?

No matter what, things are going to be great.
