Webb is falling too far behind Allen
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 07:52 PM by brettdale
If Webb doesnt win, thats the senate gone, James Carville seems to think it will be to hard for the democrats to win the sneate without a webb victory.

Hes down 55% to 44% with 10% of the vote counted.

Urban votes, including Virginia's very important African-American voters will have their say. This one is FAR from over.

if all the early returns are coming from Southern Virginia, holding him to 10% margin there is great. He's going to win Northern Virginia by 30%.

I live in northern Virginia - Webb will win HUGE here.

If he can stay w/in 6-8 points of Allen in the rural south, then it's all good in about an hour or so.

Hang on. :)

28. That's the way it went in the primary. Larger areas are slower to
report. He's got it. I just drilled down to my area (Suffolk) and Webb leads. This is a notorious Republican area.

What surprised me was there was a Green challenger to Randy Forbes when I thought Forbes was unchallenged. I picked the challenger not knowing it was Green. It had IG which I hoped the G was Green. Later, I found out it was Independent Green.

I wish that Green person running in Senate race wasn't. Greens, which I lean toward, be cool when it comes to races we need to prevent Repubs from getting.

Less than 50% of the PRECINCTS are in, not votes -- Cville hasn't reported, nor the majority of NOVA. If 80% are in and Webb is down by more than 1%, than he's lost. That's still a ways away.
