Joplin, Missouri OUT of ballots
Just heard it on MSNBC. The area is described as a "mob scene".

3. Those waiting to vote need to stay in the building.
Let the official ballots come to them.
I wouldn't leave that place come hell or high water.

5. I heard that they're photocopying ballots and having voters fill them out
but that later, the poll workers will have to transfer those votes to proper ballots, before they can actually be counted. It's going to be a late night in Joplin.

This is on the Joplin Globe site.
I just got home after a long, long day - morning at the university and afternoon with real estate. I have a house closing tomorrow and the buyers are closing out of town, so I have to do a lot of details.

Sorry - didn't hear this. I voted early this morning and have been really out of the loop since.

12. How the fuck do you run out of ballots?
They didn't want to spend the extra twenty bucks to have a spare gross or two?

14. County Clerk Ron Mosbaugh anticipated a 25 percent voter turnout.
He didn't know the Prez was coming to Joplin last Friday when he ordered them.
Actually, this probably helped Claire McCaskill. Jasper Co. Missouri is overwhemingly Republican.
Poor Ron. I know him well; he is from my home town. The poor guy means well, but he is so out of his league.
