How do they project some close races and not others?
The projected the Cruella loss almost immediately, yet the numbers don't have her down THAT much. Yet they can't project the Ohio race yet, even though Sherrod Brown is pretty damn far ahead of Mike Dewine! HUH?

1. They may be relying on exit polls...
given the bad polling numbers she had before the election her exit polls could be worse. :shrug: Just a guess.

2. Some Races Are Absolute No Brainers. They Could Have Called Byrd Last Month
When the guys got a 30+% lead and you get exit polls showing 25% or so you can call it the minute the polls close in that state.
