Forget about Virginia!
Until the votes from NOVA come in.

the same thing happened with the last governor's race.

the same thing will happen in Virginia

just got off the phone with friends who know what's what (the wife's brother is a well-known NPR reporter, whose name you hear almost every single day), and we've talked about this before

stop with the worrying about the early numbers

they're convinced that Webb will win

so there

now....start worrying some more

I am

3. Wait for Norfolk, Fairfax, Arlington, and Richmond.
Urban/Suburban NOVA is easily another 30,000 net Webb votes and more.

99 percent of the votes in

Webb ahead by about 2500 votes, per CNN

AND Arlington county (where I lived for fifteen years) still has votes to count

AND Richmond City area (BLACK!) is still out.

I think that's it

am I genius

or WHAT?

thank you

15. now...back to reality, before anybody says this:
a HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND absentee ballots still remain to be counted, but they are ALL in Webb territory

ALL of them, per the article:

''The race appeared likely to be decided by absentee ballots. More than 130,000 absentee ballots were requested in the state, and those votes have not yet been counted in Fairfax, Arlington and Loudon counties, as well as in the city of Alexandria.''

this is with 97 percent of precincts counted

so, I don't see how there is even going to be a recount possible

they can't certify the vote for ten days, and nothing can be done until then, according to one of the cable channels

so, sit tight

16. Tweety just affirms: about 33K votes still to be counted, and they
come from Webb stronghold, and by tomorrow, could "blow this race out of the water"

the man remains

in bed,

but remain

some day you'll appreciate me
