1. I think they're trying to say .. |
|
That traditionally conservative (read: Republican) voters are apparently revolting tonight and voting for Democrats.

7. This is why Dems stuck with Lieberman, they wanted the left to feel defeated |
|
and learn their place in the party.
This conservative Dem meme has been going around for the past week.

I live right next to North Dakota, and I know them both well. Conservative Democrats both. Conrad, btw, is up for re-election tonight, and is expected to sweep handily.

13. what they really mean is "Dean Republicans" republicans who came over |
|
to our side because of Bush. During the "Reagan revolution" they kept talking about Reagan Democrats, Democrats who Reagan turned into republicans. I hated that terms so much, we should push "Dean Republicans".

14. Post-big loss GOP spin |
|
We watched Faux earlier just for kicks (the entire panel was soooo sedate lmao).. they were pushing this crap hours ago.
It's their way of saying the "R" next to the candidates names is what hurt them, but the "principles" of conservatism remain strong.
Ha FUCKING ha!

|
That could be what we're seeing.
George W. Bush and his friends are not conservatives. I've been saying this for years. A conservative believes in small government, individual liberty, low taxes and fiscal responsibilty. Bush and the rest of his regime are only batting .250 in that department.
Bottom line: fascists make very bad conservatives.

After demonizing the word "liberal" for thirty years, they can't start allowing any successes to appear liberal-related.

22. well, since the GOP never loses and always win, it only stands to reason |
|
that the dems who win tonight did so because they are so much like Republicans.
Republicans win again!
See how the script is written?
