Just back from poll observation in NC

-the Piedmont area. I was there from 6:30am when polls opened.

Even though it was a cold, rainy, dreary day the precinct had a record turn out for a mid-term election. I sure hope that is a sign for turnout in the rest of the country. When people vote, Dems win!

4. Record voter turnout and Democratic landslide in my precinct!

Every race from Congress on down plus the nonpartisan was won handily by Dems in my Asheville precinct that has many Repubs. Hope this is good sign for other areas. Highest turnout I have ever seen in my many years in same precinct for a non-Presidential election.
