The Green candidate may cost us Virginia
The Green's vote totals are greater than the margin between Webb and Allen

1. Come on. It shouldn't even be that close.
That Allen is even in this race says something about a sizable segment of the population of Virginia, and it isn't flattering.

8. How about fuck the non-voters

This is a Democracy...if someone wants to vote Green thats their damn right. We get 5-10K non-voters off their ass and we don't worry about the Greens.

10. how about half the voters
who actually voted for a dim witted, racist thug like George Allen? Think of it. Nearly half the voters in that state have voted for this asshole.

6. Some of the Green votes might be conservatives
During my MoveOn calls, I did get what sounded like a very conservative woman who said she was considering voting Green because she didn't like either major party.

12. That Is What Greens Are For, Sir
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 09:43 PM by The Magistrate
That is what they aim to do: the organization is simply the left auxiliary of the Republican electoral machine.

13. This doesn't float when it's this close
If someone votes Green it doesn't mean they would have voted Dem, they may have just not voted at all.

If there's a HUGE number of green votes sucking away from a Dem, that's different, but that's just not what I see here.
