I couldn't do it. I went ALL DEMS, down the line. The only really enthusiastic vote was for Debra Bowen as (anti-Diebold) Secretary of State.

But NO. I will not vote for Feinstein.

Feinstein is the Queen of the DINOs. I can't stand her cloying, faux concern when it suits her to cry crocodile tears. Anyone ask her lately how much she and her husband, Dick Blum, have profitted from the War On Iraq?

And after watching her unbelievable performances during the shoe-in Judiciary Committe hearings for Alito and Roberts ascension to the Supreme Court of the Unitary Executive, she's not even worth the ink that would have filled that scannable bubble.

3. I voted Green in sure races for the first time...Four Times!
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 10:12 PM by LaPera
Guv - I voted Green - Arnold (R) has it.

Senator - I voted Green - Feinstein (D) has it.

Congressman - I voted Green - Thompson (D) has it.

Insurance Comm. - I voted Green - I couldn't bring myself to vote for (D) Cruz Bustamante. (Hope the Green wins).

All the rest I vote DEM - Debra Bowen, Jerry Brown, Garamendi, Chiang, Berg, etc...

First time I've ever voted for a Green...NEVER ever voted for a Republican, never will!

12. Well, you won't probably tip the election that much.
However, the time to get rid of a candidate you don't like is in the primaries. I didn't vote for Dianne then, but to vote for a Green in this election is basically voting for a rethug because they aren't strong enough to make a difference in numbers, and you will pull away votes from the Democratic candidate.

7. In the primary we had a choice of voting DiFi out as a candidate,
like Joe Lieberman. Since the primary was overwhelmingly for Feinstein, I'm wondering why anyone would change their mind and cast a vote that would benefit the Republican candidate in this election?

8. I hear ya, I had to really
pinch hard on the nose voting for my DINO senator.
It had more money than the Republican who was just as wretched if not more, with respect to workers.

9. Neither did I. It wasn't a close race so I didn't worry about it.,
It's not like my vote really mattered...Feinstein hasn't had a serious challenger in a very long time. I didn't vote for any other parties, I just left it blank.

I DID hold my nose and vote for Angelides. I can't stand developers, and believe that most of them should be in prison, but ultimatly decided that my desire to oust Arnold was greater than my desire to save our state from sprawl.

The only other Dem I wouldn't vote for was Bustamante. That SOB is the reason we're stuck with Arnold in the first place...I wouldn't elect him dogcatcher. As with Feinstein, I left it blank.
